Booking Terms and Conditions for Afrinature Tours

1. Parties and scope These Terms and Conditions govern bookings made through Afrinature Tours (company based in Maun, Botswana; Plot 25675, Moeti Ward, Maun; +267 78 906 061; info@afrinaturetours.com). They apply to all customers who reserve tours, activities, transfers, or accommodation via afrinaturetours.com.

2. Booking, payment and confirmation

  • Deposit and full payment: A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment as stated on the booking page.
  • Payment methods: We accept the payment methods shown at checkout; any card fees or currency conversion fees are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Invoice and confirmation: Afrinature Tours will send a booking confirmation and invoice by email once payment clears.

3. Cancellations, refunds and changes

  • Customer cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds (if any) follow the cancellation schedule shown at booking; last‑minute cancellations may be non‑refundable.
  • Operator changes or cancellations: Afrinature Tours may change itineraries for safety, weather, or operational reasons; if we cancel, you will be offered an alternative, credit, or refund.
  • Amendments: Changes requested by the customer may incur fees.

4. Health, fitness and travel documents

  • Responsibility: Customers must ensure they hold valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel documents required for the destinations (Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, etc.). Afrinature Tours is not responsible for denied entry or missed services due to missing documents.
  • Medical fitness: Customers must disclose medical conditions and follow guide instructions. Customers travel at their own risk if they fail to disclose relevant health information.

5. Insurance and liability

  • Mandatory insurance: Travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability is strongly recommended and may be required for some trips.
  • Limitation of liability: Afrinature Tours’ liability is limited to the value of the booking except where prohibited by law. We are not liable for third‑party supplier failures, wildlife encounters, or force majeure events.

6. Force majeure and safety

  • Force majeure: Afrinature Tours is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, government actions, pandemics).
  • Safety rules: Customers must follow guides’ safety instructions; failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without refund.

7. Data, photos and communications

  • Privacy: Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy; by booking you consent to communications about your booking.
  • Photos and marketing: Afrinature Tours may use non‑identifying photos taken during tours for marketing unless you notify us in writing.

8. Governing law and disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of Botswana and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Botswana, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
